Very nice park! There are several baseball fields, along with a skateboarding park, playground and 2 mile walking trail. One thing I find really great about this park is that there are several large trees, which provide plenty of shade for parents to sit while kids play. There are lakes out here but a fence separates them from the play areas for those concerned about gators. There is also a large per to sit and look out into the water if you choose. Lastly, there is a food truck that hangs out during the games and clean restrooms.

Nice and clean to go to. Many types of skaters. From kids to grandparents skate there. This park shares a nice playground and nature walk. So it's definitely somewhere to go for family activities.

This pain park is one of the best in Florida This park has 4 different kind of bulls everything to do from beginners to pro. It was definitely the 1st part die ever dropped in at I've been coming for about 6 months in total all away from Miami
Big O!
This skatepark is really nice. It has many ramps, jumps, rails and a snake run. It also has two bowls. There was plenty of shade to sit.and watch. My boys have been to many skateparks and they rank this one number 1. The other people there were friendly and supportive of my boys, one age 7 and the other 12. There were many families also there. I'll definately be back!!

The best in Lakeland, Fla
Honestly, most of those kids who skateboard are teenagers, like 15 years old and up. I haven't really seen kids around your kids age. You may have to use your judgment and see.
Yes definitely allow beginners, there are small kids there on boards and scooters learning. the only thing they ask is that you wear a helmet and they don't allow bikes in there .

I wouldn't suggest it considering they may accidently get hit by a board or stepped on. I know from experience.
