Would have given 5 stars, except for the irresponsible dog owners who will not control their aggressive dogs. These people don't let other dogs enjoy the Doggy Park, but it's a very nice park where your Doggies can play

I use the paved walkway as a place to just walk. It's fairly level and not too long, so I do several laps. A nice place to just walk and maybe catch a soft ball game.

Moncure is a lovely small park with parking close enough to change a diaper in the car but allow a well-behaved toddler to play in wood chips nearby. There is a multi-level play area where one can sit. There are benches between parking and play areas. There is also grass and slightly wooded area and picnic area. Since the park is adjacent to the ball field there is space to take a little walk.

This park is well kept and has a variety of things to do for the entire family. There are two playgrounds (one for toddlers and another for older children), swing sets, tennis courts, a baseball field, basketball courts, short walking trails and a covered wooden pavilion with benched tables. Also, a little free library was recently installed.
