Love the owners response....Please see it... 2.5 judges....On the fence with this restaurant. I am used to a friend from Venezuela, Larry, who makes the most amazing Arepas so when i found this on Google I was very excited. But flavors were not close to Larry's. We had Arepas of: 1. Tuna 2. Reina Pepiada (chicken with Avocado) 3. Carne Mechada (shredded meat) The Reina and Mechada were salty (class action lawsuit for promoting hypertension...lol) The fried plantains were on the spot. The garlic sauce was also very different from other Venezuelan Restaurants. It was chunky pieces of garlic. So, why I'm on the fence? Only one server, she seemed stressed out so we felt not welcomed. It was a sensation of "why are you here?" feeling.. or "Come on order quickly...lets get this done." comment. She did do her job, but not once a smile, or a hope to see you back. To be fair, we observed into the kitchen and no one was smiling. So, I don't know if that is their business culture. The dessert, Flan Quesillo was right on. Would I go back? Hummm, I have to. Maybe we went when everyone was having a bad day... Well, we will keep you posted when we go back...

Love this spot! I find the food very unique. It’s not common to find such a great restaurant with a great interesting menu! I recommend trying an empanada. I’ve had beef and chicken/avocado arepas a couple times now and they are always delicious.

Everything was so good. The empanadas were the best I have had. We got the chef’s special and had plenty of food to split between two people. The rice was the only thing that wasn’t great. I mean it wasn’t bad by any means, just not amazing. If your trying to decide if you want to give them a try, do it. Its worth it.

First the cafe con leche is the best coffee I've ever had. Not too sweet not too bitter perfect amount of milk basically perfection and that goes to describe literally everything on the menu. I've come here multiple times and every time I discover something better than before. Must taste the tostones!! My new favorite, so many flavors in one bite 😋😋😋
