While vacationing in Laguna, my daughter and her friend went shopping at the AL Laguna Beach store. Due to Covid-19, they had 30 minutes in the store to shop. The girls were rushed, called out by NAME for taking "too long" in the dressing room (Customers had to write their names on a list for the dressing room), questioned about each item they purchased, and were completely embarrased in front of the other customers. My mother has been a member of AL for many years and my daughter was an Assisteen. We will definitely be filing a c ompliant with the National AL. We are embarrassed to be associated with an organization that would treat customers this way. The women at this store should be ashamed of themselves! If I could give a zero score I would.

Always so tidy and well laid out. Doesn't have that 'thriftstore' smell. They have sporadic 'specials' and you can get a skirt for like 2 bucks. They also have an area that has THE GOOD STUFF. Everything appears to have been washed, ironed, & nice enough to either wear or put directly into your home. The only downside is that it's so crowded, but whatcha gonna do...the place is popular.
