I have been going to BAC primarily for the water aerobics classes, for a couple of years, off/on now. The staff are very nice and the people who go there are nice as well. I love the variety of classes offered and also the fact that the hydrofit is at noon - perfect for those like me who want to get in some pool time during their lunch hour from work. I also want to try their lap swim sometime. The instructors are all good too!

I have used this facility for adult lap swim, rec swim, and for junior swim lessons for my two preschool-age boys. The plus side: 1. The prices are reasonable for all activities 2. Flexibility in using the pool - sign up or drop-in as needed. It's easy to try, and if it works for you, get a membership to save and get early enrollment to secure prime lesson times. 3. Olympic length pool allows for a LOT of yard-length lanes, or use of the olympic length on occasion. 4. Little pool is kept warm enough for cool-weather lessons (if you're hardy). 5. Fairly wide variety of lesson times available (when you register early) 6. Manager, Tom Lo is extremely helpful and will work with you to try to find something that fits your needs. 7. Sign up on line, in person, or by phone. Staff is pretty helpful. 8. Ratio of instructors to kids in classes is pretty good (1:3 usually) 9. It's nice that there is a lot of room for kids to run around and be silly outside of the pool center - good areas for snacking and playing before/after lessons. The less positive side: 1. Not necessarily negative, but it can get pretty chilly on the pool deck in cool weather. For little kids, it can be a little rough. A good way to toughen up! I'm personally not a fan of indoor pools. 2. Prime spots for lessons (4-5 pm) fill up fast. You have to know what classes you need early on, and sign up asap when monthly session enrollment starts. 3. The locker rooms are pretty darn yucky. 4. The facility is really busy when swim team and water polo are going at the High School. 5. Parking can be a challenge at certain times, but street parking is, though sometimes a little far, is always available. 6. Some of the teachers are fabulous. Some don't engage kids well at all, and seem like they are more interested in going home. It's hit-and-miss, and you can't choose your instructors.

I have been swimming here since 2002. This pool is excellent, fast, and smooth. It is a good pool for all no matter what level from beginner to elite. There is no pretense, the staff are wonderful and respectful, and the US Masters Swim coach rocks. One of the best pools in NorCal, and the weather is weirdly perfect all the time.

I have been an active masters swim member for 9 years. I enjoy the pool and the convenient hours. Coaches are very nice and helpful (Thanks Coach Culp and Ray) The locker rooms are a bit crowded at times however overall I am starting to take my child and experience the kid pool area. I often recommend this pool/club to friends.

Hi I will be visiting a friend in Burlingame tomorrow 7/9- 7/12/21. Do I have to make a reservation for lap swim or can I just show up at swim times and pay when I arrive? Can you send current scchedules. I can also do Masters swim times too

You can find all of this on their website - you have to do reservations online. I think masters does allow drop in but I have not done it yet and they have a different system. Usually reservations are full by the day before

I think this pool is open now as of February 2020? How much is a monthly swim pass for non-residents?

Pool not open for public yet. I think all programs will restart April and May

Is the pool open as of June 2019? Is there a seniors discount?
