We haven't even stepped into the place and the customer service is horrible. We've been trying to call them for hours with no response. I have to file a police report and yet they're not getting it done for me. 7 hours since the incident and nothing is done. Thank you very much LAPD Southeast Police Department.

“they are not community oriented” They don't allow phone service anymore after 5pm... I’ll tell you why people often call for there cars that have been impound, because of tickets, and other things. They hold up the line asking for all the info over the phone instead of walking inside. Besides why would anyone cal the station after hours? My biggest complaints are loud music. And they arrive after 1hr. Minimum. It sucks I know. however These officers have to deal with all type of locals that are very dangerous to say the least. Sure LAPD has gotten a bad rap, 8 out of ten are great. That's not bad. It's Los Angeles County Crime that's to blame. Crime is at all time High right now, All officers have gotten some kind bad publicity over the years, however in there line of work, it's called putting your life on the line for others. That doesn't mean I hate when they give me a ticket. But it's my fault I ran that red light 12 years ago, and all the other tickets I got where justified. I've gotten pulled over 3-5 times living in Los Angeles more then 30 years. All times I received a ticket. Never got up set, but can understand getting pulled over in South Central L.A must be challenging. Word to the wise, drive carefully. And yes the response time needs improvement! But the crime is off the hook right now.

if you live in the area and need the police, please do not hold your breath. Twice my home alarm has gone off and the alarm company notified police department and twice they didn't show up. I was left to go inside my home by myself to see if everything was ok. I don't have a male living there just me and my daughter. I'm so disappointed and annoyed. Luckily both times it was false alarm. I understand they have more important things to do, but really...tax paying home owner and this is how i'm treated.

Negative, negative everyone is so negative. Well, I called the Southeast Division for non-emergency help/info at approx 1:30pm, and the officer was very professional and helpful with supplying the information that I needed, and the person whom I need to speak with; even gave me the number and transferred me. I've been treated poorly from Lakewood Police to as far as the San Diego Police, so you have good and not so good everywhere. But, today I commend this department for your help. Thank you!

Good question
Best thing to do is call the station or go down there personally. If this is your area if not go down to your local police station. There are plenty of police stations to choose from here in south central L.A. You know it's funny but I have a question myself, why does the nearby river or river bed begin or end underneath this particular police station? Can someone please answer that question.
California does not have a law for children left at home alone, however, pediatricians reccomend that a child be at least 12 years old to be left home alone.

I am alive because one saved my life and my VOC advocate saved me from myself in 2015 and I'm victim of crime and the defundment is wrong it's caused pause with alot. Yes i trust law enforcement...no one else wakes up to job where you can loose life suffer PTSD trauma....any idea of what they see? Each family has bad apple why can't it be seen that way . They deserve respect. I'm suffering victimization right .
7 am
Generally they still write them on paper some can be done on a computer
No they won't. They won't come to your rescue
Call 911 if it's an emergency or if you are in immediate danger, if not call your local neighborhood station, ask for an officer to be dispatched to your place of residence because your brother is there and is in violation of a restraining order. Just so you know, if he is there and indeed is in violation he will be arrested.
Just found out front lobby open 7 days a week from 7 am-11 pm.
