Short answer is: free money for poor people (that usually has to be paid back in the future...one way or another!!!). I think it's usually around $220 if you live in a cardboard box, but depends on qualifications obviously. You can get this "free" money 3 times a year now I think
Typically 24 hours. It can take up to 30 days but 99% of the time its the next day.
Call the number on the back, go to the nearest service center.
You need I'd and social card come to the office and apply
I would like to sign up for GR again because they cut me off so I would like to reapply for GR
Yes you just have to inquire about it. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
Yes
Yes, you will get a replacement. Ask for one at the front help desk. They'll ask for ID and hand you a paper you must give to the person at the card window. Once you're called, just go to the window and give them the paper in exchange for your replacement. I've done it twice and each time took 10-30 minutes total. I'm sure it will vary depending on how busy it is. The best time is about an hour before they close.
Disability has to be verified by Dr's first with a letter I believe or proof then they give it to you. If you apply as homeless you get it within a few days. If it was LA COUNTY you would get it within a few weeks if you applied as homeless. LA County is 9 months of help and OC is 3 months of help. LA gives you $228 a month OC gives you $350 for 3 months
Best time is 7am because theu can help you faster and you should get your benefits within the day.
The Quarterly Eligibility/Status Report QR 7, also known as the QR 7 is a form all recipients of CalWORKs (cash aid) and some food stamp households must complete, sign and send to the County, along with verifications, every quarter in order to maintain eligibility to CalWORKs and/or Food Stamps.

Yes
There is a gated parking lot attached to the right side of the building.
They have a list of documentation that they generally ask for on the cal win site. I am bringing my passport, my social security card, a bill showing my current residence and my current rent payment, utilities, and proof that my unemployment benefits have expired. They may ask for things like bank statements and proof of assets. Bring pens to fill out the forms and something to write on if you can.
Yes I believe so..you gotta have ur social security card as well
It depends on your situation
be at the front gate a few. mins before 7am. when applying for cash aid, you have to attend a mandatory orientation class the same day. Then another mandatory class a few weeks later. **If you miss either class without calling in to reschedule, you're application will be automatically thrown out and rejected. you will have to start back at step 1
If you show up anytime after 7:30-8 you will regret it. Its beat to show up around 6:40 and wait out front until the doors open. It can take about 2-4 hours but if you show up after 8:30 the whole process for cash aid can take 5 hours or more
Checkbwith your insurance company and primary care physician

U should have a packet of papers. On one of the papers, at the top, there will be a date referring to your next scheduled visit. Usually the following business day is next scheduled appointment
You can go the office you originally went to first if you can't get there find any local office and have them fax it u
