Most was great. Alex M, our sales rep, was extremely helpful, responsive, friendly, and a great representative of CarMax. The whole process of getting our car was quick and efficient. Only bothersome issue was the fact that the infotainment on the “new” car was still loaded with the previous owner’s data which leads me to believe our trade in was not wiped clean as we were told it would be. Mostly a nice experience.

It's the most easy process. We got a quote online. Scheduled an appointment. When we went to CarMax, we were asked a couple of questions. We waited and then we signed some paperwork. And we received our check which was the same amount as quoted on line. Easy and professional. An excellent and wonderful experience. Thank you so much CarMax

I went on Saturday to look for the best deal I could find and I did! Jeff Nickell help me through the whole process. I thought I knew what I wanted but I ended up buying something completely different. He was very patient on showing me the different cars I wanted to check and knowledgeable of all the details of each car which definitely helped me to make a decision. Also, all the staff overall was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

It's such a nice experience working with CarMax in Irvine. I sold my minivan there and from getting a quote to getting a check was a breeze. Reception was very prompt and straight forward, inspection was just a simple wait for 25 minutes, the people at the business counter however, where you take the final assessment of your car, need some customer service training. Finally Caitlin helped me to sign documents and she was very nice explaining everything I need to know. It was very pleasant to talk to her to finish the process. Highly recommended.

I bought my son a car for 6000, low mileage, clean, great car. Paid extra for maintenance contract
There are no auctions. You go in with Pay stubs or Proof of income They run your credit check. Pick out a vehicle and they will start the process. Don't forget to get the caremax Protection plan well worth the money. It saved me $6,000 in car repairs. Worth it!
Yes
How about this afternoon about 3:00pm?
Yes, Carmax is the largest buyer of used cars.
Yes
No leases on used cars. As far as miles and price they are firm which is dumb....you're better off finding the same car elsewhere privately or seeing if the reps will work with you. First thing first get a loan thru your bank. Car dealers make their money from financing and service so if you show them they are about to lose money, they may give you a discount to keep the financing in house
Only whats can telling they has best deals
Yes of course
I got my Registration about a month after I bought my Car.
Appointments are a great idea, especially on weekends. If you don't set one up, the wait is around 30 minutes. The evaluation itself takes 15 to 20 minutes. From comparing between different dealerships, CarMax seems to provide the most competitive offer. Good luck!
If you're asking about vans already modified to carry a wheelchair, probably not. But you can look in their inventory online.
No. They only buy cars that they can turn around and sell to someone else.
Not sure what drop off car is but I'm guessing an at home estimate. This is from their website "Q: Where is Home Delivery available? A: CarMax Home Delivery is available within a 60-mile radius of the following cities: Raleigh NC, Charlotte NC, and Atlanta GA. We can deliver to your home or place of business as long as the address is within North Carolina or Georgia." "Q: Can I have any car delivered to me from any CarMax location? A: You can choose from our nationwide inventory of used vehicles at 150+ CarMax locations. Depending on the location, a transfer fee may apply. However, certain vehicles are not available for delivery, including new and Toyota Certified Used vehicles at our locations in Laurel, MD, or Kenosha, WI, and any used vehicle listed as nontransferable."
No, in carmax just fresh car, minimum is $8000, you can use carmax..com to check prices
Bring it in to them. It takes 30-40 min to get an estimate usually. They give below Blue book but not a fraction of blue book. Private sales always can get a higher dollar amount if you have the time AND can detail out the car AND know how to negotiate. I think Carmax gave me a fair price without any hassle.
My mother just bought a car from CarMax in Irvine not too long ago and while I was there I didn't see any RVs so I would say that no CarMax does not sell RVs
As a consumer, you need to do your homework first. It's lazy to blame the dealership on easily accessible, online information.
