I like receiving discount coupons monthly in the mail from Surf City Nissan. The reminders I receive to maintain my car are excellent because I have a full schedule, and these help keep my car in check. Appointments are very accessible with my schedule. Great customer service.

Alex the service manager was amazing. To start, I went another Nissan dealership and they were unable to solve the alternator problem. I felt unheard. I had a completely different experience at Surf City. Alex listened as I explained the symptoms of the problem. Alex and his mechanics showed follow through and an expertise. They solved the issue. My summer vacation turn out great!!!....thank you so much...I finally felt heard.

I DON'T RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO USE SURF CITY NISSAN'S SERVICE CENTER ANYMORE. ========================== UPDATE ON MY SITUATION…. All of the stress with Surf City Nissan had caused me to have asthma attacks that I didn’t know about until I went to the doctor (my childhood asthma became a slow-to-progressive full blown attack without me knowing). My car is currently not safe to drive. The gas pedal keeps on depressing without any acceleration (all out of the blue). My car was the only vehicle and most reliable/easy mode of transportation to take my mom to her procedures and doctor’s appointments. We’re trying to get my car fixed for next week = her transplant appointment with all the people and teams involved for her transplant. With my current situation and using families’ cars (that are difficult for her to ambulate into/onto). In addition, she’s been having problems with her dialysis graft due to the stress of my car problems; and she’s been holding off taking her to doctor’s appointments to check it out because she’s not comfortable in any other vehicle (but mine). I’ve been using a family’s vehicle and she’s been tired after every trip and in and out of the vehicle. Surf City Nissan has been quiet after stating that they’re only willing to cover the labor costs and charge me all parts’ costs. Nissan Corporate is willing to only cover parts and transmission fluids but not labor costs. Outside auto repair shops have informed me that my car is still too new for them to order the specific transmission for my car. =============================== If I could give negative stars, I would. During hard and trying times, I guess anybody will come after you. Even when you use your vehicle to transport people to medical appointments. I trusted them throughout the years (even though they're not that great and miss little things here and there). But recently, I have lost total trust in them when they gave me my car back with missing screws, damaged my oil cap, and cut one of my tubes (and not even trying to fix it and/or reconnect it back)... and... they've tried to have me change my transmission (after they botched my car). They didn't even tell me that they messed up my car, damaged my transmission (either purposely or accidentally. I have a strong feeling that it’s purposely because they keep on pushing me to change my transmission), missed parts, etc. Pictures are attached. I forgot to add (because it was too low for me to take pictures): there were screws from underneath my car (where my car's oil was changed) were missing and had to be replaced.

I needed my Brakes checked. Mike took my Pathfinder for a quick drive-he said they were working great- He even suggested I have them take a more detailed look to make sure everything was OK and they were. I also added a Tune-Up and several other much needed services. Claudio Gutierrez went above and beyond. He was the first person I talked with, when I arrived at Surf City Nissan. He was professional, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I appreciate how he did Not give me the run around and try to sell me services I did Not need. He set up my car rental, gave me an estimate of service costs and even quoted estimated time frame the scheduled service(s) would take. While I had many different Nissan dealers to choose from, I am very happy that I chose Surf City Nissan Patrick H
