Very nice public space in the City of Hawthorne. Provided the event management for a non-profit organization hosting a Homeless Youth Awareness Event. The Center's staff, with the exception of one person was very cordial. The Recreation Supervisor, Kywanna Bowie, seemed very agitated with questions and was very unaccomodating with any requests that weren't discussed when the room was initially booked. She was always quick to say, "No", rather than, "Let me see what we can do." It's unfortunate that a semi-public servant would be so stiff, impatient and borderline unpleasant to the public who pays her salary.

Very nice and clean recreational center. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. Also they always have activities going on whenever I go. I come here for racquetball every so often since this is my plan b for racquetball courts but they keep them clean and reasonable price.
