Questions & Answers

I received a dui, but I am not interested in getting my drivers license reinstated. How do I proceed?

Getting a DUI is horrible, however a local Long Beach DUI Lawyer can help to soften the blow. Currently, California law allows for a person to get their license back from the DMV after a drunk driving arrest as long as they submitted to a chemical test and are not under 21. Call Matt for more information about the process.

If you are arrested for DUI do you need to demand a dmv hearing before your Court date to save your license?

Yes, in California you must request a dmv hearing before you go to Court in order to save your drivers license. This is called an administrative per se hearing and it is required in all cases where you took a breath or blood test that may show a .08 or higher following an arrest for DUI. All hearings requested out of Long Beach are conducted in the Commerce Driver Safety Office.
