As far as the Balboa Marina goes I would say it's a nice little fun experience The place has a lot of parking which is nice and access to the boats if you have a boat there but it's also a nice little walk or a getaway if you just want to have a moment of tranquility or anything like that I would say that you'll enjoy it if you just had dinner or something like that

Very peaceful! They have rental options for water activity in the bay.
