First - service was great. Our waitress was the only one working the front of the house, and she managed to check on us frequently, was very cheerful and welcoming. BBQ was great! They were affected by supply chain issues (just part of life at this point) and didn't have the half chicken or pulled chicken, so I had to make a different choice. But it was all great! Part of why I came was the desserts - the pics in all the reviews looked so good! But - it was hit and miss. We got several things to have for dessert over several days, but tried them all the first night. The red velvet was not good - the icing was dried to the point of being crunchy, and the cake was similar. The strawberry cake was also very dry. But the chocolate cake was good, and they had just made an oreo cake that was moist and delicious. My husband also got the peanut butter pie, and it's very rich, but he liked that.

I've driven past Mickey Piggs any number of times while going between Flowery Branch and Clarksville, and finally stopped in. Really good BBQ! They also have some awesome cheesecake, too. Staff is awesome, and the building is nice. Definitely will be going back.

After a year and counting in Habersham, we finally decided to give Mickey Pigg’s BBQ a go. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst BBQ places we’ve ever ate at. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Sub, it was alright. The chicken was extremely bland and the sub roll was cold. The BBQ sauce was the only okay part, but even it was overpowering. Fries were good. Mac and Cheese, not so much. Lukewarm and tasted like every generic Mac and Cheese brand you could find. As for the rest of the party.. Two ordered baby back ribs that were supposed to be wet and ended up being extremely dry and tough. Another ordered smoked chicken… which was very wet and was described as “canned chicken”.. moving onto dessert. The Reese Cheesecake was good. Which is why this is getting at least a one star rating. The rest of the party ordered Chocolate Cake and Carrot Cake. One of the slices of Chocolate had to have been sitting out for at least a few days. It was unbearably dry and hard to swallow. The one who ordered the slice of Carrot Cake said that they had better Carrot Cake at Golden Corral… Ouch! Now for the most dissatisfying part. The server failed to mention to us that debit/credit cards would be charged a fee. We also received the first receipt, that included an immediate gratuity added onto the total bill. The server then took that receipt and never returned it, leading us to believe that we were going to have to tip TWICE until they were called out on it. Very shady business practices. We will not back.

We haven't been here for a few years. It took us a minute to order. Our server was Megan or at least that's what was on the ticket. Both of us were completely satisfied with the food and service. To me the brisket was like thick cut beef soft bacon. I could see and taste the smoke ring. I loved it. I'm kinda picky about slaw and I liked it as well. We will be back!

Can you go back to the steak fries? The new fry change is nowhere near as good.
