Great range! Facilities are very clean, range safety officers were present but not over bearing. Bring your own targets, eyes/ears and boomsticks, they've got everything else you'd need.

I have been going here for almost ten years and they have made significant changes that have greatly improved the range. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at this range and always look forward to going back. Clean facilities great staff and just far enough out of the way. See you soon!!

Went here today for the first time, I have been to Cylbel WMA several times and really enjoy it, but Wilson Shoals is much closer to me in Lawrenceville. The ranges pistol and rifle are very nice, recently renovated. The staff are very professional and helpful. The area has a lot to offer as well. I did some exploring, but I didn't go as far as the camping areas, I'll leave that for my next visit

We came to Wilson Shoals on a double date day and had an absolute blast! Mike was awesome and extremely polite and knowledgeable. We had a great time, and looking forward to our next range day at Wilson Shoals!

You need a Georgia Hunting or Fishing License, or a Georgia Lands Pass.
They have target stands, but you will need targets. Also, they do have crude rubber rests so I'd recommend you bring bags if you have them.
No. You need either a Georgia hunting or fishing license or a Georgia Lands Pass.
No steel targets are allowed on DNR ranges.
You would need a Georgia Lands Pass (gooutdoorsgeorgia.com) Or, simply buy a hunting or fishing license (which is cheaper)
Yes. No problem at all, except it can get expensive for the shooter. Just can't use tracers, armor piercing, or anything that could start a fire. No 50 BMG
For one day only, the least expensive option would be to purchase an Apprentice Combo Hunting & Fishing License - cost is $5
That will work just fine.
It is OK to shoot a few times to pattern the gun, but continuous shooting is not allowed due to target destruction and wad litter.
