Her professionalism and dedication to successfully getting the job done was a comfort to me and I knew I was in excellent hands. I would strongly recommend Mrs. Megan DiTolla to anyone going through this process. I cannot thank her enough for all she has accomplished on my behalf. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I called West Coast Disability b/c I needed a long-term disability attorney. I spoke to Maggie. She only practices SSA law, but she talked to me for 45 minutes and explained other types of benefits that I may qualify for. I didn't know this, but the State of CA has their own benefit program that can last up to a year, so I am going to look into that program as well. She referred me to an LTD attorney in the valley, but Maggie was so helpful! She even gave me some websites to look at so I could get my State application in.

I hired West Coast Disability Law Group before I even applied for Social Security Disability benefits. I knew nothing about the process and wanted help from a professional. I was already getting help with a worker’s compensation claim from another law firm. However, I was only ever able to discuss my situation with the paralegals at the worker’s compensation firm. West Coast Disability Law Group was REALLY different. At West Coast Disability Law Group, I worked with a lawyer named Megan throughout the process from beginning to end. She knew EVERYTHING there was to know about my case and then some! I had a successful resolution to my Social Security Disability claim and I know I couldn’t have done it without the support of West Coast Disability Law Group, LLP.

Ms. Schwartz and her firm were the most professional people we have encountered since we started dealing with my wifes disease. Caring, compassionate, professional, attentive. She outlined the process and timeline and did what she said she would do when she said she would do it. Ms. Schwartz is honestly the best professional I have dealt with in the past 20 years if not forever.

Hi Ms. Brandon, We just practice Social Security Disability law at our firm, but contact the Los Angeles County Bar Association and they can give you a list of attorneys who handle those type of issues.
The first thing i would suggest is speak with a lawyer first. I am going thru the same thing but i have an heart condition and i know that social security has a blue book that they go by.
Hi Ms. Wingard, It sounds like either your Medicare benefits kicked in if you are receiving SSDI benefits and SSA took your Medicare premiums out of your monthly check OR you had resources that required reductions if you are on SSI benefits. Either way, SSA should be able to explain it to you if you call and ask to speak to a manager about the reduction in benefits. Unfortunately, SSA benefits were never meant to be an income replacement, so they are rarely enough to cover all living expenses. It is the reality of some of the shortcomings of the program.
