Food was great. Really good flavor! However, the drinks could have been stronger. Tasted like we were drinking sweet and sour and hardly any alcohol. Hope it was just an off night making drinks, otherwise we'll be back. 4.2🌟 ***Update, drinks have gotten worst.

Fantastic meal, a little bit of a wait but to be expected given restaurants are shorter staffed after COVID. I ordered the table side guac and De Cerdo Especial with a Charro bean substitution and it was a generous serving with leftovers for tomorrow. Our server Jonathan was extremely attentive and pleasant with a smile on his face at all times. He did mention their top orders are anything with steak as they use skirt steak.

I order steak fajitas to go. It seems they thought I order onion soup or why so many onions on my order. Remy the rat from Ratatouille could of done a better job cooking my fajitas. Stop hiring people that don’t want to work there specially all the teenagers that are just on their phones or joking around with other coworkers. You’re loosing customers faster than a diarrhea coming out from a lactose intolerant person. To be honest you should not be called Mexican restaurant the max you can go is Tex- Mex. Y’all can do better.

I really enjoyed La Parilla. One of the better Mexican restaurants in the area IMO. Arrived 2 pm on Saturday afternoon and the place was not busy, but we still had a wait - not bad, only about 10 min. Guessing they, like everyone else, are short on staff. We had the cheese dip with jalapeños, because how can you not, and it was excellent. Hubs had the Texas grilled nachos, which had a bit of everything on it - grilled chicken, steak (to order), shrimp. He enjoyed it very much. I had the Tinga tacos. Came with a very generous serving of rice and beans (of good quality) and the shredded chicken was tasty and well seasoned. All of our food was really good. Service was also very good. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Kept our drinks refilled without having to flag her down. I would definitely recommend this place if you're craving Mexican food.
