Worst most dehumanizing food bank my family & I have been to....and believe me I am in fear of retaliation from that horrible volunteer who told my husband not to bring me back (he'll knows who I am) just by saying that all because I questioned why they were demanding cash donations. The lady volunteers who explained it was to pay for the building rent and some other things that I can't remember because I was so upset. We moved here from Washington State and had a few food banks we had to go to due to job loss and they NEVER asked for any money and no cash donation and to be totally honest I don't like rotten vegetables or fruits and empty Christmas gifts jerky boxes with no jerky in them. I don't need to be made to feel any WORSE than I already feel with no money and no FOOD!

Very nice box of food given to me. Thank you Been here 4 times now. All I can say is wow wow and super wow. Mostly fresh veggies organic from Sprouts. So much food I share bags full with 6 neighbors and still have an abundance for myself. I love this place. Thank you so much.

We mostly need volunteers on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9-11:30a.m. You can just show up! Let our office staff know that you're a new volunteer and we'll get you started!
We can accept both perishable and nonperishable items. Please call ahead to ensure that we have enough space to accept the items and let us know what the expiration dates are. Thank you!

Our public food distributions are only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You're welcome to call our office and we can refer you to other local agencies that have distributions on different days, if needed.
They give out food to 250 families every Tuesday and Wednesday. The lines do get long so I suggest that you get there by 8am to ensure that you have a spot.
$5 donation but not required. Anyone can go. I drive from Baldwin Park 18 miles away. Wednesday are not as crowded. Tuesday they have a religious service. But after 12 till 1 or 1:30 just line up sign in and then pull your car around back and they fill up your trunk with awesome mostly organic fruits and veggies from Sprouts grocery store and other items. So much good food. I do recommend calling first and ask if they are open. As i have driven the 18 miles to find they were closed. Another time i arrived and they had no more food so i called the number to double check if they have food and the person said yes and i asked her to double check and they came back and said no they were out.
