There is nothing wrong with this place at all, but as far as orchards go this place could have a bit more than just apples. And if not, perhaps note on the website that they don't. We did buy some cider, apples, and a few apple-based BBQ sauces, but would like to have had a bit more in the way of apple sweets. We'd go back to this place if we are in the area, just to get cider. But if you are looking for a place to get apple sweets, this ain't the place.

Some of the best apple cider we’ve ever tasted comes from The Apple Shop at Fairmount Orchard. Each fall we can’t wait to head over for cider and fresh apples. Love this place!

We lived on Signal Mountain for 10 years and this place was a favorite part of every fall season. We moved off the mountain 6 years ago but drove up there last weekend to see the colors. Fairmount was on the way so we stopped to pick up a gallon of cider and have enjoyed warming up a mug several evenings this week...just cider, no added spices needed. Delicious! Plus, I was delighted to find bags of my favorite apple, Rome Beauty, in the apple store. They had several other varieties, also. You can shop for apple butter, apricot butter, mulling spices, etc., too.

We love to visit every year. You can buy several different types of apples as well as cider. They offer ½ gallon and gallon jugs as well as hot and cold single cups. The store offers a few different spices, jams, and jars of honey. It's a small quaint shack with friendly service.
