I can’t believe I live so close to this gem. I love running the different courses, and there’s some elevation/inclines to help with training. Rent out kayaks, canoes, a local swimming hole (seasonal), camping, and so many trails to hike/run. The fishing is great too! It may vary of course, but it’s such a great experience. Great family fun for everyone.

This is a very convinient location for camping. I is gives you a wilderness feel, while being very close to the urban area. Facilities :restroom (hot water, clean) , camping area generous space for cars and tent. Things to do: fishing, kayaking, swimming lagoon, small fun water park, hiking, biking... Ample to spend couple of days or more. We spent two nights, definitely will return.. For more..

We had our Redwood Empire Chapter VVA #223 picnic over in the Jack Rabbit Run picnic area. Had about 100 folks show up, was a Fabulous day!!🤙🎈🌞🍺⚓🇺🇸😎🌭🍔

Swimming in the actual lake is prohibited, but you can swim in the lagoon which has soft sand
Yes, it's possible but I think some of the other guides are exaggerating, at 5 am the homeless wont even be up. So enjoy your run
There is a designated area for swimming with life guard, sand beach, changing restroom, shower, peddle boat etc.

I did not see any paddle boats on the lake, but several kayaks and stand up paddle boards were on the lake.

They are closed. One time we stayed too late they closed the gate on us, gave us a warning but left it unlocked.

If you fish alot there are some Big Large Mouth Bass in Spring Lake. Best by boat or belly boat. Not Very good from shore

Yes, there are a limited number of kayaks and paddleboards available for rent. Please visit sonomacountyparks.org and look for kayaking/paddleboarding under the 'Play' menu. We strongly advise you to reserve in advance.
