The service was very slow. We had to wait on the chicken to cook. I ordered Cajun Rice and they gave me French fries. They mixed old chicken with new chicken if they're going to make youwait they should at least give you all fresh chicken.

No question about it, best fast food chicken in the land. Love both the spicy and the mild. I know there are many southern eateries that can compete but as far as fast food chains, Popeyes dominates. I've lived in Texas and up north and still prefer the chicken here. My favorite side is the red beans and rice, love the flavor. I do not venture often to other menu items except for sides and biscuits. Mash w/ gravy and cole slaw are both good. The shrimp is popular and the chicken sandwich rates higher than most fast food chains. Great product consistency from visit to visit. Be prepared to wait at this location, service can be slow and it is usually busy! As with many places that have great food, I am prepared to wait. Also, for better results in fresh product and order accuracy, avoid the drive-thru.

I can't speak for every location, but the one on waters and Armenia, had horrible service! ,The wait time in the drive through has been anywhere from 10 to 20 mins and sometimes that wait time is before you even get the chance to do your order. And once you order it , there could be an additional 10 to 15 min wait time. When you finally get to make your order they don't have a third of the items on the menu. So you mean to tell me I have waited 10to 15 minutes to order something you don't have.....#shame. One night there was one young lady working. Only one! She was taking orders, doing the drive thru and cooking. I have to give her her flowers. Even though the wait a little long and still not as long when there is a full staff, I feel she did an excellent job,! I love Popeye as a whole, but between waiting at least 30 mins or better it's making me second guess that & yes I could have went somewhere else, which a lot of times I do because the service is ridiculous, but I shouldn't have to.... Management needs to go back to the drawing board and think of a better way to support your staff do they can provide the kind of service you advertise and the kind of service the customer's deserve....#dobetter

In drive thru line for 30 minutes, kept being told to hold on " I'm the only one here". But yet at least two others were in front of store sitting down. Lobby doors locked in the lunch hour also. Drive thru left mic open and all you here is laughing and yelling. It's like this everytime I come. Now everybody has to take their break but why everyone at the same time , especially at 12:30. I come back because I like the food but this is rediculous . Franchisor is missing alot of sales.
