Ty Kruger is an incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, clear, and succinct teacher. I am thrilled to have taken his entomology class for fly fishing. CONFLUENCE is THE place for up to date equipment and knowledge. Can’t wait to do a Deep Canyon overnighted. AND thank you for your kindness.

Confluence Fly Shop is a modern day “Cheers” where the staff and guides really do know your name. I went into the shop this past week with four buddies to relax and chat about fly fishing. The staff (Dane, Taylor, Landon, Nate and Dalton) joined in our conversations which was awesome. Tye (owner) joined in too sharing various fly fishing adventure stories. You don’t need to be an accomplished fly fisherman to enjoy stopping in this shop. Just an interest in fly fishing or as in our case an incurable obsession. Thanks Tye for taking your customers far beyond the usual fly shop experience. Cheers Mate…

6 of us used Confluence Fly Shop and Deep Canyon Outfitters to arrange fly fishing trip of a 3 day float, 2 night camp including guides, meals and camping equipment. The crew, Dylan, Brendan, Jordan and Nicoli the chef provided an experience that exceeded our expectations. The guides were knowledgeable, personable and extremely well organized. Nicoli, the chef/bagger moved the set up and moved camps and provided outstanding dinners and breakfasts. The guides provided hot lunches on the river each day. Fishing exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Tye, the owner of Deep Canyon Outfitters and the Confluence Fly Shop. He is responsive and great to deal with. We'll be using them again the future.

Confluence's owner Ty and his staff are welcoming, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about fly fishing. This is a great place to go as a beginner like myself and take some intro classes and get honest guidance on first purchases, or to pick up a few essentials and advice on the local water for seasoned anglers. Good selection of rod and reel equipment across a range of budgets. Some items may be a little more expensive than what you might find on the Internet, although the customer service more than makes up for it.

Same as everywhere
They do carry some clothing: hats, shirts, jackets, some pants, socks, boots, and chest waders.
