My storage rental with All Star Mini Storage got off to a great start. Although their spaces were the only left in town. I first rented two and transitioned to one unit as I finished work on one of my smaller trailers inside. They were both 10'×20' and with insurance cost me $172.00 a piece. There was no down but I did pay an advance month. These are older facilities on Main St. and 54th in Springfield Oregon. Although these units were convenient I was soon to notice that the facilities maintenance plan had a few large holes in it. Unfortunately so did the roof, but I figured that's what the insurance is for, right. The leaky roof was patched up quickly and all is well. The facility is only open till 5pm but with calling ahead the friendly staff was usually willing to stay till 6pm. The rows are very tight and turning even a small trailer can become very tiresome. If you're unlucky enough to hit a busy time you can be stuck in the street or grass near the sidewalk. As I was moving out the last two months I ran into some unforeseen problems with the last big snowstorm on Feb 24th. All Star Storage didn't even open for a week and it took much longer for them to remove the snow in the way. I am not sure why they didn't have it plowed or shoveled like all the other storage businesses in town. I lost some time there but managed to stay current on my bill. I ran over into March as I finished moving out. I was out on March 15th but just wrote a check for the entire month and waited for the refund. And waited... Eventually I called to ask about the refund and was told by a rather grumpy manager that I owed them. I discussed the matter with a good attitude and pointed out the delays which were caused by neither party. Mother Nature took care of that. I received a letter the next week which confused me even more. I will include a picture of the invoice. I feel like I was overcharged for two weeks but after attempting to resolve the matter ended in the letter invoice I decided to cut my losses.

Our stuff got ruined from mice and mold from leaky door would not replace said it was our responsibility
