This trail is the downhill portion of Brown Mountain trail. From the benches on top enjoy the views. This is for intermediate to experienced MTB riders, beginners don't be too proud or too ashamed to walk there were some parts walking was necessary. Paths are narrow and sketchy in parts with rock gardens and lots of drops. Many tight switchbacks and very technical. Did this with a hardtail and your line choice is important. Have fun, don't use much of your front brake, enjoy your ride to the bottom.

This is saying El Prieto I know it as Brown Mountain Dam. Easy hike it just takes a long time to get there 🤷‍♀️🤣 It's worth it! So much beauty on the way there. I'd suggest you go early it gets hot. Bring plenty of water for you and your fur baby. Mama Keira Loved it 🥰😍

Pretty good trail. The actual dirt trail starts about a mile from the parking site. Trail is used by hikers, cyclists and horses. You'll want to be cautious with the cyclist because this is a popular trail for them.

210 fwy to Altadena, get off on Arroyo and go north about a mile, you'll see parking lot on the left side and follow the trail to the mountain
