Wonderful organization... providing hot meals, large pantry and hygiene products, in addition to other services.

I went there to pick up a couple of Thanksgiving baskets for some people. The lady handing them out was so kind. The baskets were abundantly packed. Even got some help loading the 2 boxes into my car.

The volunteers here are great! Very nice and very helpful. Only issue is whoever answered me when I called was so rude. She cut me off when I was asking her something then cut me off at the end again by hanging up. I did not call to be rude or to say anything that would make her mad. I just called to check if they were open this week. So I do not understand why she would talk back to me rudely and cut me off like that.

Yes, they do. They even give you a backpack, to carry the items. I believe they do it once a month. You can also get a hot meal, each day

Sometimes if an eviction IF funds available. You would be better off going the government route - which they do not do - because then you can get past due & possibly foward month (s) call 211 to see who does those since City of KCMO closed their offices @ 4400 Cleaver that was
I don't think so, but it's best to call to make sure.
I'm not sure but call 211. They will help and who they give you to call.If they can't help..ask if they know anyone..repeat with everyone you talk with 🙏

I'm not sure if Redemption are giving out Turkey's they do however have a food panty. I know you can call them and they can let you know or check with Harvesters and my church handed out some last year you can contact them as well. Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church 2910 E. 30th they will be able to tell you if they're giving out baskets for Thanksgiving which did include a turkey and a lot more. You can also call 211 for additional assistance.
I'm sorry but I'm really not sure. I believe they do help with paying rent but I just don't know what the guidelines are that you would have ti meet to get assistance. I would suggest you call them way ahead if time to find out all your questions. I would hate ti tell you anything wrong about the services they offer.
Hi Paulette. We currently do not assist with housing. We do offer rent/utility assistance (eviction/shut off), food pantry, clothing and hygiene. If there are any other resources we can help with please feel free to call our main line 816-931-9942 Mon-Fri from 8a-4p. You can also visit us at 207 Linwood in midtown. 211 is also a great resource. I’m so sorry.
Yes, you have to call and the outgoing message will tell you what zip codes they are servicing for utility assistance. The food pantry is open to all kcmo residents
