Great way to spend a day. Excellent exhibits and friendly staff. Plenty of open tables if you want to bring your own food. Also the park just a mile south has a great carousel if you are bringing the kids.

Beautiful light displays + music for the holidays! I was hoping to some animals but I know they were sleeping. 😅 We had the 8pm time slot but there was a massive line to get in and didn’t realize the park would close as early as it did. It was fun and something to do once, not sure if I’d return again though.

Stopped by for LA Zoo nights with my girlfriend and few of her friends. This was cool outing lights were nice and really gives the holiday season vibes. If you need something to do with the family or significant other here’s an easy date!

A small and compact one. They're putting away big animals at 4 pm and closing at 5 pm immediately during the summer. Still a fun place to go for the little kids I guess. But not in the summer!

I just worked around the zoo however I think they check immunization cards
Definitely buy in advance because of covid the zoo is only selling a certain amount of tickets per day
Hi, no Zoo is back to being closed sorry. However, on weekends bike rentals are still open by Rangers station, off Crystal Springs within Griffith Park. Daily hiking, walking, running is ok too! Some days I have seen picnics going on with "social distancing" throughout the park. Kids are also back in the playgrounds, if you have any. Fyi: can no longer park off road that goes to Forest Lawn, by 134 Glendale area, after dusk. Rangers will get you to move! Lol. But, can park at Autry Museum lots until 10 ish. Hope this helps!
