We saw wicked in this theater and it was lovely. The orchestra was incredible!! It really made the show to have live music. The stage was a great space. There were concessions on every level. Great experience.

Really loved the San Diego Opera! We went there to see Florencia en el Amazonas and it was a blast. It is only my second Opera, my first being at the Massimo Theater in Palermo Sicily where they preformed Don Giovanni. I had a great time and I really appreciate the San Diego Operas support for the military. Can't wait to see my next Opera here!

SAN DIEGO OPERA Wow!! The great unwashed got pummeled with solo and choral performances that left my jaw gaping at the Sicilian Festa yesterday in Little Italy. Yup - that good. The drama that colored every aria would make a country-western angst riddled ballad seem like a breakfast food jingle. I regret that my iPhone ran out of juice before I could record more video. Most tragic is that the San Diego Opera is in dire financial straits. Listen to them in person once, and you'll be reaching into your pockets so fast for a donation you'll be bringing up pieces of underwear with the bills.
