Amazing views and great wine! Fantastic outside seating area with the perfect breeze. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Cab Franc was our favorite. We became members on our first visit and look forward to bringing our friends back here. And they are pet friendly which is a must! Cheers!

What the heck just happened? We’ve lived in the area for years and didn’t know about this place. My wife had parents watch the kids yesterday so she could sneak me out for some wine for my birthday. When we pulled in I was a bit skeptical. A winery in Escondido?? So we went in. It was nice inside and the people were very friendly. We did a $15 tasting which normally gives 4 tastings but since they were out of some wines they added a 5th. First was an unfiltered Chardonnay that was good. Ok...this place is pretty nice. Second was a Sangiovese rosé. It was awesome! Chilled perfectly. Tasted amazing. Wow. I’m surprised. Third was their Maverick - Sangiovese. Woah!! It was really smooth. So good. What is going on right now? Why are these so good? 4th was Codebreaker - Barbera and Merlot. UNBELIEVABLE! Different finish then I’ve tasted before and it was amazing What the heck!? Where am I? These are some of the best wines I’ve had in years 5th was Walk the Line - Syrah. SO GOOD!! I’m blown away. We literally hit the winery jackpot 5 min from our house that no one knows about. Or no one I knew. Then we walked around and saw the vines and the horses. It was a perfect experience. I’ve already told so many people, bought a bottle for a friend and will be back. The wine bottles are pricey but worth it. About $67. Although they had a 50% off on the Maverick! And they have a membership where you don’t pay to be a member, just an agreement to buy the three bottles each quarter. I have a background in fine dining, studying wine, even fermented and made my own wine once, became a wine broker for a short time and I’ve tried many wines over the years. This place blew me away. I want to tell no one about it and everyone about it.

Wine is very good but also very pricey. Be prepared to pay up to $17 per glass of wine. Bottles start at $60 and go up from there. If you want great quality wine at a fair price, try Altopiano. Better wine and less expensive

Loved it! Lisa was awesome and very knowledgeable about the wines. The best wines in the area. They are all organic and use only grapes grown on the property. Worth the extra money. Beautiful views and gorgeous patio! Some beautiful horses to visit as well!
