Ben at Orvac Electonics in Fullerton CA is THE MAN! Friendly and Helpful.

I'm not entirely sure what Orvac's target market is any more. I used to be able to find everything I needed for electronics projects. Not so much any more. I can still get wire and coax that is not readily available locally, but many of the basic parts I used to count on them for, like coax connectors, sockets, adapters, small machine screws, etc, are now only available online. I can still find some parts I need, but Orvac has largely driven me to online shopping.

Great store full of all the electronic parts you need for a great deal of projects. Not much in the way of specialty parts though, except for the networking stuff, where the prices are extremely high, for some odd reason, and the guy working in that area is a really rude. That is the only reason for the 3 stars in fact. Most stores are great until it comes to some of the people that work there.

This is a great hobbiest toy store, they have everything unimaginable there that has anything to do with electronics. Sometimes I just go there to browse the neat surplus stuff, and often I find things I never knew I needed but just gotta have. The people at the desk are really friendly and helpful every time I go in, and that has been over 20 years I have been going in.

I am not sure exactly what Orvac Electronics sells. I took my brother there today for a charger for his electronic bike and they had it. I also remember my dad going there for all of his electronic needs before he passed. I don't ever remember anyone being disappointed after visiting them. There is a lot of street construction going on around them but you are still able to get to thier parking lot.
For Industrial controls not for 110 volt residential. Look for electrical supply.
We stock them. Give us a call on Monday and have us check stock.
Not likely off the shelf pre-made. Parts are available to build it yourself. Usually someone will show up with a parts list and a YouTube video that is guiding you how to build it.
