Great place for recovery

As all drug and alcohol treatment progams change this one has done some drastic changes in comparison to when it was located off of market St. I've been a resident at light house several times back then and recently at it's latest location. I especially like the fact that it is a T C type of program; "theraputic community" in that it is primarily run by the residents with input from staff who have been there to. It also serves the greatest food thanks to Joe Baggs. And I mean the best .It is pretty much convict material meaning for the most part everybody is on parole or probation. On the CC. T C side which is not really lighthouse but actually a mix of people on parole or probation whom have just gotten released from custody and instead of just having those people go to the streets etc it gives people a fighting chance, a roof over your head and you wait for a spot to open up in a rehab or sober living. Meanwhile you enjoy the bomb food and also get things of import done like medical .I'd, social security card and testing for stdS

My fiance gum disease from jail to that program I took her her clothes the next day matter fact that day I didn't have money on me at the time to drop off any cigarettes so visiting is on Saturdays and Sundays do the visiting you have to be on a sign up sheet and list and you have to be approved just like they do in prison I took her cigarettes and ask them could they please give them to her they gave me a bunch of flak stood there act like I'm some kind of criminal and I'm a citizen at the same time I ask for rules of what I can and cannot do because my fiance forgot to tell me some things I drove all the way out there to drop her off a couple packs of cigarettes so she can have some to smoke on and it's same time I got turned around and sent on back with the cigarettes so long story short that program is garbage is not ran right and they have rules that are fit for prison inmates so the advertisement said their recovery facility but all in all if you drive by there and look at through the gate you'll see it looks just like prison and you'll see the guys running around there just like prison and they how's the females with the men so I'm in a sober living homes and I was in program but the program supposed to be allowing them to transition into society which they're not being Trans Am not allowed to transition into society they're being held in jail like but get to see the outside so that's all they do there's no groups there's no studying there's no lessons there's no nothing they're just there I wish they shut it down and hire some people to really run it right and allow those people they're not inmates no more they're released to society

Yes. You can. Its a very good place to be especially if your detoxing.
Resident message number is 619-688-3996
Did you call 619-235-0130? We are not allowed to give out alot of info due to privacy. Are you sure he is here? We only deal with AB109 probation/PRCS.
They did have visits today from 12 to 4. The clients are always made aware of visits and holiday scheduled in advance.
As soon as you get there you can get visits and drop offs sat sun only. If your in ctc theres no passes till you get to your program. If you're in the lighthouse program you can get a pass right away on the coming weekend.
It's every saturday and sunday from 1pm to 4pm. The individual you are visiting just needs to put you on the visiting schedule. I'm not sure if you can go both Saturday and Sunday or if it's just one day per weekend. You can bring food for you guys to eat together :)
Yes, the program will be able to pick him up upon his release date if he requested to be picked up by the program.
You can drop off clothes n hygiene n some food within the first week from being released from jail or prison but they have to get approved through staff first you cant just show up at the gate they will turn u away. So I would wait for his or her phone call telling you when u can come bye n do a drop off otherwise u might have to wait for the weekend visiting hrs. Also u can write them mail to if you want to talk to them you got the address.
Till you're clean..can vary
9 times out of 10 you can get accepted but you will go to jail most likely. Do your flash and then come back
Depends 1 to 3 months
Be aware that each resident has limited space for storage, so up to a week worth of clothing maximum. Hygiene. Non perishable food. Sodas, coffee, and other drinks will be appreciated. Music is fine with headphones, no internet capable devices allowed, such as phones, tablets, computers. If your son smokes, cigarettes also will be appreciated. A little bit of spending cash is fine, He can have a small amount on his person, any extra he would keep deposited with the office. These guys are well taken care of, but getting good clothing is the biggest issue. Focus on that.
That isn't true. Everyone is allowed a cell phone. You have to earn these privileges while being there. It's a great place and i love going back sharing my progress with the community, and talking with Laura Garcia and Malissa... The light house is a well grounded place to recover from and learn about the direction you want to take your future.....
Depends on the modality of the client
