The new facility is really nice. Staff jave been very nice and helpful. Kaiser has an early check in service for some appointments. I have used it a few times and it worked really well.

This is the worst. I’ve come in to the ER with chest tightness 11 A1C 309 sugar and have been waiting for an unacceptable amount of time. About 7 hours and I’m still waiting. Not one staff has come out to inform anyone of the long wait time or even ask if anyone is experiencing pain, chest or any kind of severe pain. If I were to go into diabetic shock no one would even notice. San Diego Medical Center 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Fast and efficient, friendly staff. Easy to find parking. Check-in is extremely fast and easy when done on one of the kiosks. Have never had to wait for very long to be seen. The exam room was warm, calming and intimate. Felt more like a therapists office than a doctor's exam room.

Due to COVID & the busyness of the hospital, it is better to schedule an appointment.

Call the nurse hotline they can recommend something. If you already have Kaiser coverage, you can visit any of the Urgent Care clinics which are open until 7 pm. They will do a workup on you and if an Ear, nose and throat specialist is indicated, they will refer you to someone
