We were looking for a place for a late evening meal after leaving the Denver At Museum. Just a block west, Cap City meet our needs. It was trivia night, so service was a little slower than expected, but the sandwiches (ABLT and Blackened Tilapia) were both tasty, and the price point was fine. It was a balmy evening in Denver, so the outside patio was excellent, and it was kind of fun following the trivia.

Great environment, great service, fantastic food! My friends and I have always enjoyed going to Cap City Tavern! I like getting the chicken and fries, mozzarella sticks, and their burger. My significant other said the salad was really good too. I think their fries are homemade, which is what I'm all about! I suggest sitting on the patio and enjoy the sights, and people! The staff has always been really nice, and outgoing! I will be returning!

Pretty good overall. Location and the service are good. The food's is pretty decent and the prices are reasonable considering the location. Just four stars because their cocktails are weak and their house wine is horrible. Don't know if they had opened a bottle a couple days ago and it had been sitting out for a day or two? In any case, I brought the wine to the bartender's attention and she did replace the house wine with the next upgrade for free 👍 I also went to a double Jack Daniels on the rocks after the weak cocktail and that was a good pour. Thanks!

Jesse the service person was super nice and helpful. The selection of beers is substantial, if not remarkable. And the burgers are made with wagu beef and fantastic. They also have some great gluten-free choices. Do recommend!
