No. You can ride a horse on a 1-2 hour trail ride Buying a horse is a huge commitment. Board, feed, farrier, vet, training, tack... I recommend taking lessons with a trainer, learning horsemanship, and your trainer can help you find a horse to match your experience level and riding goals.

They dont have a restuarant there but on some days they offer a ride and bbq combo. You go on your ride and then they have a bbq afterwards. It's usually on Saturday. Nov 10th is a Sunday. If you go on the 9th (Saturday) then they have the bbq. They have tickets to it and details on their website which you can find by going to their section on google maps.

Not a good idea to take a 2yr old. Horses walk close to edge, also when we went on our ride horses were biting and kicking the horses

You'd have to find a place to temporarily board the horse. That might be easier to find other side of the park, off Riverside Drive.

Of course they will be safe. Also there's people who ride horse with u guys in case you fall or you don't get along with the horse that you're ridding lol. But they Will be fine trust me😊😊😊😊👍👌

There's actually a bylaw in place that prohibits anyone riding a horse faster than a walk i Griffith Park. If you get a private ride and the trails aren't busy it might be possible to do some trotting, but not much else.
