I've been shopping here for 20 years. The cashiers are excellent. They have a lot of baggers which is rare these days. The store is clean and not overcrowded by too many shelves. The have excellent meat and an excellent cheese selection. Also the produce is great! The floral section has a lot of selection at high quality! The downside is that almost evetything in the store is over priced.

Gelson's is still the same wonderful market with good people working inside. Ask about an item and the employee walks you to it. Want something special? They'll try to order it for you. If they are well received, you will soon find them in other markets.

Lots of upscale products. Terrific bakery. They don't have the family sizes of products and their prices are high. Their magazine selection is the smallest I have seen in any suoermarket. The deli was closed, but looked like the selection was tasty when it was open. Checking out - there was only one person ahead of us, with only a few things. But she was taking forever to check out....looking for something on her phone, endlessly. So another cashier came over and moved our shopping cart to her register. Staff are friendly and considerate.
