Our old “Mrs. Gooches” has gone full corporate WF/Amazon now and lost any shred of homey, local. It is very sterile and feels very corporate. The food bars are now by the container instead of weight, so if you just want a little Mac and cheese for your kid, and a little salad for yourself that’s a $10 small box each, regardless. $15for the larger size. The espresso bar is self serve with a machine (good espresso though), they still sell non organic food at premium prices. Now this store has lost any cozy feeling. The workers are probably nice, but they just cluster up in the middle and watch you struggle with self check out. Directing you from afar. It’s like not their job to help you more than just watching . I do like the concept of being able to load my groceries directly into my shopping bags in my cart and walk out, not having to run them each through the checker, but I haven’t tried the automatic checkout thing yet to see how well it works. And everything at a premium.

The overall shopping experience is wonderful and feels like a step into the future of in person shopping. Items we purchased all showed up correctly within an hour of leaving the store. I have to mention the staff as well. On multiple occasions I have been assisted by friendly, helpful people who are a delight to interact with. Some real professionals and genuine humans in the deli and cheese department, as well as the rest of the store! Although this certainly is not the largest whole foods I have been to, or even in the area for that matter, it certainly is a pleasant shopping experience that I will return to. The convenience of skipping the checkout line is legitimately something that makes me choose this location over other stores.

Came to the remodeled Whole Foods today on day 2 of their reopening. To enter you use your QR code from Amazon prime or you can download the Whole Foods app. You just fill up your bags with your items and then when you leave you scan out with the QR code and you’re charged for the items you left the store with. There’s no baggers or check out lines (actually there’s one small one for people who don’t want to use the app but it’s so much easier to just use the app). I liked the convenience of not having to stand in line, it was super easy. I also bagged my items in my cart as I went so I didn’t have to do it all at the end. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some cons: smaller ready to eat food section with most items available as grab and go in a refrigerator. There was a soup and hot food bar but you pay for the container and not by the oz, so probably only worth it if you’re going to fill up the container (prices weren’t outrageous though). I was missing the cold food section that is so great at the big Sherman Oaks location. No sushi bar or sandwich station but both were available as grab and go options. There was a pizza station, cheese station, and they did have the hot rotisserie chickens. Overall less inventory than the Sherman Oaks location which makes sense though because it’s just a smaller store. Pretty convenient and quick though so I’ll be returning when I don’t want to bother with the giant other location.

Quaint local shop. With disastrous oarking for most of the time. ( the Rchitect must have been the same guy who designed the so call parking lots of Trader's Joe). Just park around the block. Soon to reopen under a brand new look. Love the local shopping opportunity for Sherman Oaks and Valley Village.

Yes they do

Check with the store for inventory.
Anti pasta section of the deli has olives, which you may call an "olive bar." Good luck.

And

I have no idea, but I bet they do. They have everything natural and vegetable. ;-)
May I suggest you use a more secure communications tool. The telephone works well and your address remains confidential. The phone number is available on their website.
