I was looking around Hollywood for a place to get a rash guard swimming shirt and this was one of the few. I looked at the reviews and was really put off; but I had been over to the Broadwalk and saw the place so I knew there were some other souvenir shops around that plaza. We headed there and went to the other shops. First place wanted $50 for a rash guard shirt, next place wanted $60-90, so we decided to check Wings. VERY GLAD WE DID! The rash guard shirts were $25-40. Got one with a hood for $26, also got some water shoes for $16. Overall their prices were the best in that plaza and very reasonable for any souvenir stuff. No issues with the staff. Checkout was pleasant and easy with Apple Pay. We will be going back to get souvenirs before we leave.

AVOID STORE AT ALL COSTS — Extremely rude workers, I went in to buy an umbrella and she snapped and said “open it over there!” And pointed to the most cluttered corner. When I was trying to open it she was hounding me to “be careful” — excuse me, I’m opening an umbrella that’s pretty large. I have a small stature and I was struggling in the small corner. Umbrellas ⚠️BEWARE⚠️ are final sale, no refunds, no returns. Opened one in the store, then went to check out, I realized I wasn’t too crazy for the color and told her can I change colors. She gave me such a snarky comment saying “ok… go…” like a child trying to get rid of their kid and harshly slid the one I didn’t one at me expecting me to return it where I got it from (which I was going to anyway) 🙄 Opened the second one in the store a nice gentleman helped me, I checked out — took it to the beach and once I opened it, the metal bars inside snapped. Tried going back and they were so rude and nasty. I showed them the receipt where I was there literally 5 minutes ago. Wouldn’t accept it/nor exchange it. You’re better off renting the cabana or umbrella at Beach Shack; CASH ONLY⚠️ I was so furious and upset I left the broken umbrella in front of their counter. Cheap material for a $40 something umbrella. I’m more upset over the workers than the actual umbrella.

Very rude employee!!! Yelled at my kids for trying the scooters and told me I should put them in time out. My husband & myself got into an argument with this employee for scaring our children. Everything in that store can be tried on before purchase, except for the scooters apparently. Well… they lost all of our business and will never shop there again. Always thankful for the smaller businesses around WINGS, they are more helpful and appreciative of their customers. I would start with the smaller businesses before heading to a chain business that treat children and their customers poorly.

(I will start by saying I took this photo from an earlier post I saw because I didn’t take photo while I was in the store, but afterwards while reviewing the reviews I came across this photo which was the woman with whom I had this interaction with.) If I could give this place a “0/5” I would. I am a very calm individual and this woman had me triggered within minutes of entering the store. She has to be one of the rudest “customer service” individuals I have ever come across. I literally “pointed” at a t-shirt with my foot. This woman (who was checking someone out at the time) began YELLING at me from behind the counter. I finally turned around and realized she was talking to me and she screamed to me “are you serious!? Do you not have hands!?” I realized quickly what she was referring to, and quickly responded very calmly that I simply pointed at a shirt on the bottom shelf with my foot, and even said “I promise you my shoe didn’t touch a single thing on that shelf.” She continued to go on and on, and made me and my family extremely uncomfortable. Finally we ended up leaving without buying anything, and she continued to scream at us and even began arguing with one of our children on the way out of the door. Seriously unbelievable! She should not be working in retail, and judging by all of the comments I’ve read before mine, this is not a new way of acting for her. If she is an employee, she needs to be fired. She has no business working with other people, as she has no idea how to speak to another human being.
