Your organization attracts homeless and panhandlers who solicit customers that come to the shopping center to engage in commerce with local businesses. The homeless/panhandlers solicit customers who go to Dunkin' Donuts and they loiter. Yesterday three homeless people started a fight amongst themselves in the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot which warranted a call to the police. I have reported the homeless issues to the City of Oceanside Customer Care so the police can take action to protect shoppers and customers who do business on the shopping center. Your organization is largely to blame for the problems caused by the homeless. For the safety of the public and in supporting your neighbors (who have businesses to run) you need to hire 24 hour security since your nonprofit serves the homeless. It's also not fair that businesses who lose customers because the homeless drive them away. If you can't provide that then do what is right for public safety and operate elsewhere.

Bread of Life misrepresents itself! It doesn't provide food to all homeless in need. It only offers limited resources to a selected few. It does not offer shelter to the homeless population. But, it let's a few selected volunteers stay there. It does not help with job search, unless giving people directions to the local day-labor staffing agency counts. These people are rude and nasty people!!!! This is not just some uninformed opinion, but comes from first hand knowledge! Timothy Ceballos
