Positive: The staff was kind when I asked for a new room. Negative: The hotel is incredibly old and not well kept. The carpet and bathrooms need to be completely redone. My shower walls were moldy and yellow. There was a hair on the sink (not mine). The doors feel hollow and could be easily broken. Fire escape broken

Positive: The pool looked inviting but we didn¿t have a chance to use it. Negative: ¿Breakfast¿ was a bag with cellophane wrapped muffin, bottle of juice, granola bar, and apple sauce. No extra towels available. Bathroom was stained and didn¿t even have soap. We had to ask for it. No chairs in our room, even at the desk.

I booked my room 2 months in advance through the hotel for a reunion. When I arrived I was told they had no rooms available and all other hotels in the area were booked and had nothing available. The location is perfect for being downtown but they don’t care about reservations and seems to be more first come, first serve. They blamed 3rd party booking but that should not be the customers problem when they book and reserve rooms through the hotel. Due to no other hotel accommodations, I had to drive 2 hours back home, missing the event.

Only giving two stars because check in was easy and staff were very helpful. Great location. Hotel is awful. Mold lining the bathtub and on the shower curtains. Bath towels with yellow spots and stains, as well as stained bedsheets. Tub was clogged and took forever to drain. Other people’s hair on the sink when we came in. Holes in the bathroom door, holes in the wall. One working outlet in the entire room. I don’t even feel comfortable laying under the comforter so I’ll be sleeping on top of it tonight. It is 100% worth paying the extra $20 to stay at the Hilton down the street.
