Decided to go to WinCo as it was rated number 2 grocery store in Moscow idaho. Visiting from out of state. The prices weren't too bad some of them were good some of them are still a little bit high compared to what I was used to. When I went to check out tried to use a Visa credit card. Kept saying not accepted. The guy working there said oh we don't take credit cards. Just figured I'd let everyone know if you're visiting from out of state and you go to go to a WinCo grocery store don't expect to pay with the credit card because you can't.

Winco is a great place if your on a low pay grade. It is the cheapest store in the area by far, it even beats Wal-Mart. Their selection is huge and generally high quality. They have a bulk foods section which carry lots nuts, dried fruit, candies, dried goods, and more. One of my favorites in the bulk food section is crystallized ginger. They have decent fresh foods like mangoes and really good asparagus. Their meat is pretty good, but is depends on what you get. The deli is excellent. The bakery is mediocre, however their bagels are a real treat. They have a nice selection of wines. They have great cheese at a low price. To sum it up Winco is a great place to shop if you don't mind crowding or have a tight wallet.
