Huminsky is awesome! He is kind and curious. He is willing to share his knowledge and teach buyers anything they want to know. I've been buying coins here for 2 years and will continue to go here for as long as I live in the area!

This man really knows his stuff. I'm not sure why people think he's grumpy! I think he's just business-like, and after getting to know him a little bit he's downright fun to work with. I was given a very fair price for some coins I brought in. Don't let a few negative reviews scare you off. Go in with a smile and a purpose and you'll be treated well, and you'll leave with a bigger smile than when you arrived!

How much is a 1956 penny?

A 1956 penny is worth different amounts of money depending on the grade. I am assuming this is a United States penny or the better term cent. According to The Guide Book of Coins 2021 which includes RETAIL values The 1956 penny (assuming it is from the Philadelphia mint meaning it has no mintmark on the obverse under the date) in VF- 20(Very Fine) condition it is worth about 10 cents. In EF-40 (Extra fine) condition it is worth about 12 cents. In AU- 50 (Almost or about Uncirculated) condition it is worth roughly 15 cents. In MS- 63RB (Mint State) condition it is worth about 35 cents and in MS- 65 it is worth about 1 dollar. If you had a 1956 penny in a proof set in PF- 65 grade would be worth around 10 dollars. I hope this helps!

PCGS would be the place but you need to pay a membership.
