My partner and I lived at Cascade Falls Apartments for almost 2 years. We absolutely loved it. Our first hesitation was already at ease with acceptance for LGBTQ community. The manager Renee is kind, friendly, and very easy to work with. She was prompt in answering/returning any phone call we may have had. Also the amount of care and attention to detail via maintenance could not go unnoticed. The apartment itself was nicely updated, with fresh paint and very clean. Appliances were fairly up to date also. If we ever had an issue with anything we had maintenance there with in a matter of a couple hours. If your looking for a fair affordable living space go to Cascade Falls Apartments. You wont be disappointed. This is by far one of the best 2 BR we have ever rented.

Update 2: Changing to a one star, the smoking here is horrendous. The weather is nice again which means we want to live with the windows up to get some fresh air in the apartment. But sadly that is literally IMPOSSIBLE! All day we get rancid air of cigarettes and can't even enjoy being in our own living space without it smelling terrible. Fingers crossed we find a house soon and don't have to live here anymore. If you don't smoke and hate the smell of cigarettes in your own place, DO NOT LIVE HERE. Update: The management has improved and been more responsive with issues. Maintenance has been getting more help and have been able to respond to issues far quicker. Main issue is still the smoking. It's a major frustration trying to enjoy the nice days with the windows open and having your apartment be filled with second hand smoke constantly due to smoking neighbors. Also hard to enjoy being on the deck when neighbors are allowed to constantly smoke right below/next to you. Everyone is relatively friendly and the apartments are nice, especially what you pay for. Though with recent changes the management has gone downhill. With the prior owners, they were pushing for a smoke free environment and had designated smoke areas. Now the new owners are allowing smoking near the apartments again, which makes it impossible for non-smokers like myself to enjoy living in the apartments without smelling cigarettes all day.

When I started renting the apartment it was under different management that seemed very cold and uninviting. Whenever I've had an issue Renee in the office has always been most helpful! The maintenance requests were completed in a timely manner. The grounds were always clean. The management is conscientious if you have a family with little ones or if you are a single or couple with no children. We were placed in an apartment with other younger couples or single adults. There was never an issue with parking or feeling unsafe. I would have loved to have stayed longer. The biggest benefits to Cascade Falls Apartments would have to be the location, washer/dryer in unit, pleasant neighbors, and ease of communication with the landlord/ office. I wish I could have stayed longer, but my job pulled me elsewhere.

Used to be nice. However since it was sold the new management has been hiking the rent up about $100/month every year. They schedule snow removal randomly and use a outdated notification from fall as a warning to tow. The fire alarm system would go off for days without anyone taking steps to silence the alarm (goes off every time there is a power outage) it once went off for a week straight. they may choose to not renew your lease if you have a dog. And worst of all the apartment heating is undersized and cannot keep up when it’s below freezing. My living room was unusable over the winter I had my heaters on full blast and it still wouldn’t get above 60 degrees in there. Be warned the electric bill over the winter will be well above $150 a month even when you only heat one bedroom. In addition the bedroom gets unbearably hot and humid during summer. My honest opinion is pass on this complex I could justify the heating/humidity issue when rent was 700 a month but now they are asking almost 900 per month (plus an average of $150/month electric during the winter and $180+ if you run AC in summer. They haven’t repaired or fixed the insulation issues. They put up new siding but cheaped out on the insulation again. Glad I moved.
