You Betcha Bites (Brandon Jackson)
Wait! Please pause for a second and look at all four of these excellently composed culinary creations. Don’t swipe on quite orecchi-yet! 😁 *Proper pronunciation of the pictured pasta to pick up on the pun: oh-reck-ee-ET-tay*👌 Primavera Orecchiette, Chicken Pesto Pappardelle, Baja Bowl, and the Breakfast Bowl from The Lowry in Uptown 🥣🍽 We came for some elevated foods and a semi-formal dining experience. The Lowry no doubt delivered; this place is modern on the inside, and makes you feel fancy without breaking the bank, as their enormous menu is very fairly priced. I had the Orecchiette. It was a well balanced plate with a creamy yet light tomato mornay sauce, just the right vegetable to pasta ratio, and that perfect Parmesan finish ya look for. It was fantastic, and I enjoyed every bite. Though I didn’t try the other dishes, all guests were impressed and would return without hesitation. Next time you’ve got a group and a special event or occasion, check out the Lowry and be ready to lick your plate. But totally don’t… Remain sophisticated… 😉😋 Shoutout to John, our waiter, for his masterful charisma!

Visited for Saturday brunch - 4/9/22 We treated an out of town friend to the Lowry and Jack was our server. He gave fantastic recommendations, was authentically himself, and kept us laughing the whole time. I was told that he's moving to the Freehouse in North Loop so if you frequent either place, ask for him! He'll take great care of you. The food was stellar as well. I got the pappardelle pasta and tried a few deviled eggs. I'm sure you can't pick a wrong thing on this menu.

This place came in highly recommended so thought to give it a shot. Loved their cocktail selections. Ordered the scrambled salmon which was pretty good. Great server. Glad a parking lot is available.

A standard pub house that didn’t wow but kept the status quo. Deviled eggs were decent, creamy, eggy and tangy. The Deluxe burger had crispy candied bacon which complemented the Wisconsin cheese. The meat was cooked as requested and the onions added a nice crunch. The Peter’s burger that tasted too much like the McDonalds hamburger. You know what I mean? The one with the mustard and ketchup combo. Mayo might’ve been a better condiment as it’s a little more subtle and would let the other flavors shine. Cheese curds were solid, squeaky-ish, salty, crusty, and chewy. I thought they overthought it with the applesauce and spicy sauces though. A nice side of ranch would’ve done the trick. The final dish, the Parmesan crusted grilled cheese was the dark horse winner. It the crust added a salty and crunchy texture to complement the gooey middle. When dipped in the shot of tomato soup, that took the sandwich over the top as it added the classic tomato element. Overall a decent place for a casual dinner. Would I go again? Maybe
