Great vibe, nice service, friendly with good food and nice drinks. Lovely place for an upscale dining experience. Some vegetarian options and a nice locally sourced cheese platter I'd recommend. They were also friendly and accommodating to a very well behaved 4 year old!

Amazing atmosphere! This is a GREAT place for a data night or other special occasion. Seated looking out over a snowy Loring Park this was the most romantic dinner I can recall in a long time. We went for Restaurant Week, so ordered off the fixed price menu, but added on some items. The pear salad was a delicious way to start of the meal, the dressing really makes this salad shine. My pork chop was perfectly prepared, and while the sauce was not my favorite, the meat itself was very flavorful. My wife's salmon was equally good. Desserts were really good. The honey cake was like nothing I've had before, but remarkably good. The little touches in each dish made them special. Our server was very attentive, while also giving us plenty of space to just enjoy the evening. Dinner wasn't cheap--even Restaurant Week--but this place is worth the splurge.

Amazing ambiance. This is a great restaurant for a date, with a very lounge-like feel. In the summer, they have a Parisian alley-esque outdoor eating area. The food is very good too, especially the cauliflower.

Went here for our anniversary. Hadn't been in many years. Disappointed the alley patio is not yet open but that was explained as a shortage of staff ( a problem all over apparently). Indoors was cool with the air but we opted to eat out on front patio. Server was helpful with wine and food selections. My husband had the pasta entree and I had the roasted chicken. Both were excellent. An octopus starter was very tasty, the sauce was particularly good with a roasted lemon squeezed overall. Wines were well matched to our food selections. Dessert was sublime, we chose the roasted pear with something like creamy ice cream and the chocolate cake with cherries. Expensive night out but worth it for our special occasion.

Casual wear would be ok. Since it is a little more upscale, dressy casual would not be out of the norm either.
