Friendly knowledgeable server. Food was wonderful! Had the Adult Grilled Cheese - Smokey, melty, savory and sweet. Best onion rings I've ever had. Everyone there was raving about the food.

I’ve heard this place was great, but the three times I’ve been there over the past four months, I don’t get it. The food is subpar and the service is even worse. We were there this evening and had to ask twice for napkins. We had ordered chips and dip and had received it, yet no napkins. Our glasses were empty and I had to go inside to even get our tab. Our intention was to order dinner as well, but a larger table showed up and we figured since our waitress couldn’t handle the 3 tables of 2 each that she had, we would never see her again. Awful service, mediocre food. I might try it again in a few months, once they hire a new staff and train them, but I wouldn’t recommend it in its current status.

Typically I love leaving good reviews, but unfortunately I had a pretty rough time after visiting here. TL,DR - good service and establishment, but got food poisoning from here... rough two days. The Good: Loved the atmosphere and decided to get a celebratory lunch here. Staff were friendly, service was wonderful. Took a look at the menu: 55 items on it (not including deserts or drinks). Lots of variety, but usually when there are that many items, it's hard to keep fresh ingredients for all of these dishes. Server assured all ingredients were fresh and I placed my order: poke bowl and Big Surf Burger. The service was prompt and appetizer (poke bowl) came out first. Was not expecting it to be a platter (instead of a bowl) but I enjoyed the creative take on the dish. Burger was presented well afterwards. Both were delicious. The Bad: About an hour afterwards I had massive stomach pains and had to regurgitate the meal. Spent the past two days without being able to keep food down and other textbook side-effectsof food poisoning. Feeling better now, but oof. 2 stars mainly because the staff was kind and the place looked good, but not willing to go through this again. I take no pleasure in leaving a bad review, but its got to be said. Sorry.

Great walk on the way to the restaurant and they embody the vibe from the neighborhood with their outside seating. The staff are very friendly, informative, & only praise their chefs behind the scenes. A lot of people come here for the fajitas and the Mexican dishes on the Daily Specials menu. I loved the Salmon salad and Bertha's Fiesta salad with fried jalapeños.
