When I stopped for gas I was the only vehicle waiting so I figured it would be quick. After awhile three more cars pulled up and were also waiting. I waited for 6 minutes then walked in and asked for help. They didn't have any customers inside. The employee at the counter told me he couldn't leave the register, which is understandable, and let me know there was someone outside who was supposed to be working the pumps. The employee who was supposed to be working the pumps was just sitting on the curb. So the one I spoke to asked their other worker to get us gassed up. The employee who came out started everyone's gas then went back inside and started stocking, expecting us all to finish the service. It is illegal here to self service gas. This isn't the first time I've had an experience like this here. Once on another occasion I had an employee tell me to just do it myself if no one comes to help.

My mom and I stopped there for gas on our way back to Washington and wow, never again. Transients everywhere, one peeing in the grass, several just sitting around. The guy that pumped our gas, we weren't sure worked there or not. Turned his back and blocked us from seeing what he was doing and now mom is worried about her card number. She went to the bathroom and the door was broken, no paper, dirty, no soap... The area looked so nice, but when we really looked at the parking lot around us... ugh. I understand about the homeless situation, I've nearly been there and have friends who have made it out of it...I know there are decent people out there, but I don't want to be places where I feel unsafe because someone is waiting to hustle or rob me. That's what it felt like there. I hope they get that station together someday.

Duane is a great manager might be young but very helpful and his team is are a good fit congrats for the professional attitude from a young man

The new manager is a real peice of work. He threw a fit about a cup for 15 cents with the customer in front of me. The bathroom door had a sign posted that said "fuel customers only" having just filled my tank I figured I qualified, so I asked for the key and he refused to let me in, he said he wasn't allowed to let "homeless people" into the bathroom. I'm a PAYING customer and he came at me like that. I watched him be discriminatory to other customers as well. He's a bigot and a horrible employee. After this incident my fiance and I were sitting in our car trying to locate a parts shop nearby to fix an immediate need and he came out and screamed at us to leave. We weren't disturbing ANYTHING.
