Great family friendly hike to an amazing waterfall! Easy well maintained switchback trail through lush forest leading to a beautiful viewpoint with a stone bench. WARNING! Use lots of mosquito repellent if you visit in the summer or you will be eaten alive. Young kids and folks with moderate mobility impairment can do this hike. I highly recommend it!

Perfect beginners trail! Short and sweet, just the right amount of walk to climb ratio. Lots of places to wonder off and explore or take pictures. Beautiful scenery with many elements.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My original plan was to take a drive and short hike while waiting for a friend to get off work while i was on vacation. The drive was beautiful but the hike was breathtaking ..well marked trails on either side of the creek and logs that fall across the creek for those who are more nimble to test their skills. Although it was a hotter than normal day in Idaho( July 31,2018 ) the water was still cold enough to cool you off in a hurry. There are educational and informational stops along the way to the falls that give you the opportunity to learn about the wildlife around you... I recommend this trail to even the novice hiker.

It is less than a mile, I think just over a half mile to the top. It's a climb, but not steep. A fine trail for families.
