I got myself into a sticky and potentially hazardous situation with my car when trying to go hiking in Sandpoint. I called the Sheriff's Department to explain the situation. I was really worried that the Sheriff was going to be rude or talk down to me because of my blunder. However, I was pleasantly surprised when the officer showed up. He was very courteous and helpful and waited with my boyfriend and I, in the cold, until a locksmith was able to show up. I cannot thank this officer enough for helping us salvage a horrible day. He is a great asset to department! Thank you for your service!
