My husband and I were on our way to Glacier NP when we got a phone call that we needed to return home ASAP due to a family emergency. We knew we needed to make that 8 hour drive as fast as possible and pulling a trailer wasn't going to cut it. I called and asked the sweet owner if we could leave our trailer for a couple of weeks, didn't need hookups. She said of course! We arrived, she directed us to a spot and wished us luck on our drive. We definitely recommend Jocko Hollow Campground!

π₯πΊWhen we drove in the first thing I saw was a Mickey Mouse, so I knew it would be great..It was very well kept, and flowers on each picnic table was a warm welcome..The whole area was very clean and Our Dog Anee Loved it as well. Thank you Gudda (spelling wrong) for a great visit to your Lovely home away from home. π₯πΊπ·πΉ

Very pretty campground, nice facilities, affordable. Might not be the best site for tent camping, as the loud truck and tourist traffic on rte 93 does not stop, and a train runs past, blasting its horn every night. My dog took a shot to the face from skunks two nights in a row. A large black bear walked by at 8:30 this morning about 20 feet from my tent across the knee- high Jocko creek. Laundry lines are not allowed, and the camp owner actually removed my clothes and line, presumably to do yardwork. Pocket dogs in RVs do better than Aussie Shepherd mix working- type dogs, frantically protecting owners from wildlife surrounding the mesh and fabric walls of their tents.

Great campsite! The hosts are friendly and helpful. The river is nice and low so children can play. Lots of green grassy areas and a horseshoe pit. This campground has bathrooms, showers a laundry facility and the hosts have firewood for purchase. Pets are also welcome as long as they are leashed! The one downside is it is close to the highway and can be a little loud.
