Buyer beware - avoid at all costs! They misdiagnosed and dismissed all symptoms. You have to force them to consider further testing. Majority of their doctors do not have good bedside manner. I finally canceled my plan and upgraded to a smaller private practice

Not a general hospital so you have to buy their insurance to receive emergency inpatient services like brutal infections and such, why did the Gov'n allow this? almost all hospitals should have a ED that takes obviously sick or infected patients, Lord help many of us.

Not a bad place to have heart valve replacement surgery. The team prepares for your arrival months ahead and they monitor your status constantly. They do a great job replacing heart valves using less invasive methods that hurts A LOT LESS and makes recovery fast. It's life saving and you will live longer. This team has perfected the procedure, and even high risk people can survive the operation and have more time with their loved ones. As a Kaiser member, you will have a low co-pay, and walk out feeling better in a few days. High end medicine for sure. The doctors and nurses are friendly and explain everything to you and your friends and family. The nurses do an exceptional job caring for patients. Your friends and family can hang out in the various waiting areas and enjoy a nice view. "The food here is also not that bad" :-) says a 75 year old patient.

I am in the ER at Kaiser, Geary Blvd, SF with a family member as I write this. I must say that the care here is going well and the staff is caring and professional. I have always experienced excellent care at Kaiser for myself, for delivery of five babies, and ER care for all of us. Also an excellent Cardio Unit is at this location, and successfully pulled my cousin through a very difficult and tricky heart surgery situation. Sympathy to you who were not so well treated. But overall, we are fortunate to have this particular Kaiser Permanente facility here in San Francisco.

Maybe try injury center at 2238 Kaiser Clinic. If you come to 2425 geary hospital you'd have to go to Emergency dept. Either way, do get it checked out before the 48 hours

There is an emergency room at 2425 Geary, but not an urgent care office. The urgent care office is nearby, at 2238 Geary Blvd, 3rd Floor. It's open M-F until 7:30p, Sat & Sun until 5p
