After many frustrating experiences with other health-care providers, the care I received at Oak Street Medical was a much-needed salvation. The entire process, from online check-in through the actual appointment, was very streamlined, smooth, and friendly. The care I received from Dr. Snieder was exceptional. He is friendly, compassionate, and a great listener. I felt like he listened to me and provided exactly what I needed for my health needs. I 100% recommend this facility!

I had searched a long time to find the right Doctor for my general health and well being. I am so glad I found Oak street medical. There staff are so kind and patient. I feel safe and confident in the handling of my care by my FNP Angela. Angela makes sure I understand what and why tests are performed and I know my concerns are being heard. She has an amazing MA that makes you feel comfortable and supported. It is also very convenient that they have an on-site lab so there is no need to make an extra trip somewhere. Thank you all so much for the great work you do!

I've been a patient at Oak Street since it was located in the building just south of it current location, and I was a patient of Kirk Jacobson long before that (32-years, in fact). I have never received inferior treatment from him, his PA (Ed Valenzuela), or from other members of his nursing or non-medical staff. The worse I can say about Oak Street is that, historically, some of its doctors were decidedly inferior to Kirk (all but one of those are gone, and I have had no experience with their replacements), but then there's probably not a clinic on earth where every doctor is equally good and all are excellent. I am writing this review because some of the negative reviews that I just read here are so untrue to my experience and to my wife's experience that it's as though they written about another clinic. For example, one reviewer stated that Oak Street doesn't like to take Medicare patients because all the clinic cares about is money. My wife and I are both on Medicare, and I can unhesitatingly say that this review was absurd. Someone else claimed that Oak Street doesn't return phone calls, and this, too, is simply untrue. Another reviewer complained about abusive treatment by a doctor who, to my knowledge, never worked at Oak Street. I could go on. No medical provider or his/her staff is perfect, but I have consistently found the people at Oak Street to be friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional, and I would unhesitatingly recommend Oak Street to anyone.

I never feel as though I am not being heard. Everyone I have come into contact with has been lovely to work with. I love Ed Valenzuela and his nursing assistants/RN's are always so down to earth and easy to talk to.

Need to ask.
Oregon Allergy accepts Kaiser but check your plan to see if you need a referral. Oak Street Medical Primary Care does not take Kaiser.
