We both had the seafood platter and a pan fried oyster appetizer. The pan fried oysters were very fresh, large and delicous. The shrimp was good, the clams were small but good. The fish looked and tasted like frozen pre-battered cod. Not sure why a restaurant near the docks wouldn't serve fresh fish. But the rest of the meal was good. Service was lack luster. We had 3 different waitresses check on us but never once did they offer to refill our water glasses. I ended up requesting refills

If you’re here visiting and looking for good seafood, keep looking. Their fish & chips is not fresh (frozen and pre-breaded). Based on the waitress’s recommendation, we got their Oysters Rockefeller. She said it’s the best and people come back for it. We found them to be overpowering (you taste garlic, butter, spinach and cheese- no oyster). We barely finished the 5 of them. Meh. Not great. The TV and kitchen music were also loud and competing with each other. Not a fan of this place.

My Bud light was served nice and cold every time. The calamari was FRESH and was absolutely Delicious 😋 Everything was great about the food and service we received. I recommend this place if you're in town you won't be disappointed

We were just passing through when my boyfriend, a friend and I wanted some fish and chips so I called ahead of time so we could just pick up our food and head out, I was told that it would be ready in 10 minutes and we were only about 8 minutes away, when we got there we ended up waiting another 10 minutes just for them to have me pay and then another 5 until I was handed my food. When we first walked in the waitress looked at us like we were crazy? She seemed upset that we were there. My friend even commented and said it’s obviously a clique type of bar and it was clear we weren’t welcome, my friend asked where the bathroom was and the lady just said “over there” as she walked away which still didn’t help. It is a cute little pub though... the food though not so much. It was almost $40 ($36.90) for 2 orders of the fish and chips, usually I wouldn’t complain but it was cod and not halibut which is usually the higher priced fish. and it tasted a bit fishy not in a good way like it was frozen not fresh, even thought I could go swim in the ocean about 30 ft away. there wasn’t much food either :(. (I took the picture a little after but I made a sandwich out of toast and one of the fish pieces and I hadn’t eaten anything other than that.)

There is a seperate restaurant side that allows minors. Very small, great service.
You have to wear a mask when entering.
I am not sure about bands outside for specifically double D's. However during cool coastal nights and Dune fest it would not be too uncommon for there to be a venue set up across the street of double D's. If you haven't been to Double D's I would strongly recommend going there. It is my favorite burger joint on the coast by far and everything that I have had there has been phenomenal. I'd recommend the Double D burger, but one word of advice, you better be hungry. :)
